Who We Are
Based in Edmonton, Alberta, Architectural Deconstruction Ltd. specializes in deconstructing commercial and residential properties. We are known for our responsible business practices in the construction industry and have been leading the way since our establishment in 2020. Our commitment to stakeholder relations, financial responsibility, and sustainability has driven our rapid expansion despite our humble beginnings.

Our approach
In order to reach the best possible outcomes for our clients, our approach is to maximize our Triple Bottom Line by prioritizing: Stakeholder Relations, Environmental Responsibility, and Financial Management.
1) Stakeholder Relations: We understand that every project presents a unique set of challenges and opportunities. That's why we invest in all our stakeholder relations to ensure our knowledgeable team offers the best quality service to our clients and their projects. To do this we continue to develop strong working relationships with our clients and consistently offer updates directly from the job site. We also pride ourselves on our relationships with our quality vendors that allow us to facilitate safe and efficient project completion. Lastly, we strive to develop our team by providing training, safety programs, and quality mentorship.

2) Environmental Responsibility: Environmental responsibility is so inherently important to us, that it's even part of our name. Our process of architectural deconstruction is to safely disassemble architectural structures and sort the materials into distinct categories. By doing so, we prepare existing structures for repurposing while also organizing materials for responsible disposal. With every project, we work with specialized vendors to redefine traditional demolition methods. We prioritize the repurposing, recycling, and donation of materials to divert waste from landfills whenever possible.

3) Financial Management: While we do encourage a holistic approach towards construction management, we recognize that there are some misconceptions relating to environmental responsibility costs. Therefore, we actively begin each project by discussing with our clients about their project expectations including priorities of the budget. With our team's combined experience, we are able to confidently recognize the necessary financial awareness needed to keep each project on schedule and ultimately on budget.

our Safety practices
The health and safety of our employees, tradespeople, and especially the general public, is paramount to our operations. Recognizing that safety is not always intuitive, we take on the responsibility of employing a well-educated staff trained in safe and effective work practices.

Our safety expertise grows with each project. We adapt to each job site by collaborating with owners and general contractors to identify and mitigate hazardous conditions, adopting site-specific safety policies, and leading by example.
Our employees are trained in CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid, Aerial Work Platform, and Fall Protection. In addition to our safety standards, our employees meet security clearance requirements in sensitive, secure facilities. We are proud members in good standing with the Alberta Construction Safety Association and the Workers Compensation Board of Alberta.
In 2022, we obtained our COR Workplace Safety Certificate of Recognition, further reinforcing our commitment to our health and safety program.
